Every fact on a company page carries the source it came from and the date it was retrieved. The registries and filing systems we read are listed, with their licences, on the data and coverage page. Where a company’s own filing states a number, we show that number and link to the filing.

A figure is marked as reported, market-derived, editor-entered or estimated, and as verified or not. A value nobody publishes is shown as unknown rather than filled in. The distinction matters more than the coverage: a page here should never leave you unsure whether you are reading a filing or a guess.

We do not estimate revenue, valuation or ownership, and we do not publish a figure we cannot attribute. Market capitalisation does not appear anywhere on this site, because a share price is licensed data we have not bought, and an unsourced market cap would be a guess wearing the clothes of a fact. Where a company discloses no valuation, its page says so plainly instead of inventing one.

If something here is wrong, we would rather know. Company records are corrected against the source, and a correction that changes a published figure is recorded. Write to us from the contact page.

Advertising on this site is served by Google and is marked as advertising. It has no bearing on which companies appear, how they are ranked, or what any page says about them. Rankings are computed from stated figures on a stated date, and the method is published beside each one.
